YOUR FIRST STEPS INTO THE UNDERWATER WORLD
Our beginner dives are carefully designed to introduce you step by step to the wonders of scuba diving. The adventure begins from the beach, where your feet can still touch the sand – giving you a sense of confidence and control.
First, you’ll get familiar with the equipment and learn how to properly wear your mask and use the breathing regulator. Your instructor will explain all the safety procedures and basic diving techniques.
Once you feel comfortable breathing underwater, you’ll gradually descend into a completely new world. You’ll see colourful fish, fascinating marine plants, and experience the incredible sensation of weightlessness that diving offers.
THE PERFECT SPOT FOR YOUR FIRST DIVE
Beginner dives take place in Los Cristianos, at Playa las Vistas – one of the most beautiful beaches in southern Tenerife. This location is chosen for its calm waters, good visibility, and rich marine life, all of which can be seen at shallow depths.
Depending on the tides, your dive will take place at a depth of 6 to 10 metres – an ideal range for a true diving experience, while staying within safe limits for beginners.
The full experience, including preparation, transport, and diving, lasts approximately 3 hours, with up to 35 minutes spent underwater – a truly unforgettable moment.
DIVING FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY
Great news for families – beginner diving in Tenerife is also open to children aged 10 and up (with parental consent). And there’s no need to worry about swimming skills – our instructors will ensure full safety and support throughout the experience.
