AQUALAND – WHERE GRAVITY IS OPTIONAL
At Aqualand, you’ll discover that sliding down from a height that would normally trigger a panic attack suddenly becomes the highlight of your trip. The park offers the perfect mix of slides, climbs and twists that will have you forgetting your age and playing like a kid again.
For the true thrill-seekers, there’s Kamikaze – a slide whose name suggests its designer had a rather unique sense of humour. Once you’ve made it to the bottom, your swimsuit may need a loyalty check, and your hair will likely be styled into something most salons would charge a fortune for.
For the little ones, there’s a safe haven in the Pirate Ship and Castle, where they can splash about without risk of being launched into the stratosphere.
And the cherry on top? Dolphins! These international oceanic celebrities put on shows that would leave Olympians in awe. Their acrobatics make your beach cartwheels look rather amateur in comparison.
JUNGLE PARK – WILD ADVENTURE WITHOUT TICKS OR MOSQUITOES
Jungle Park is 75,000 square metres of lush jungle where you can feel like the star of an adventure film – without venomous spiders or cheeky monkeys stealing your camera.
This botanical garden and zoo combo offers a face-to-face experience with wildlife in their (almost) natural habitat. Authentic waterfalls, caves and lagoons set the scene, all complete with comfy walkways and zero need to hack your way through with a machete.
The biggest attraction? Birds of prey and tropical birds flying freely overhead. It’s far more exciting than watching them on telly – just don’t wear anything on your head that resembles a nest!
